Compact is the word for the new Doosan DX10Z!

At only 71 cm wide and with foldable TOPS, this mini excavator can sneak through most doors. And with zero tail swing, DX10Z allows you to work up against walls in the most confined spaces.

Yet this manoeuvrable mini excavator operates like many larger machines. The undercarriage can be extended to 1.10 m, providing the base for unbeatable lifting capacity. Inside, you have plenty of room for your legs, a quiet environment, and joystick positions you can adjust for your own comfort.

A compact mini excavator you’ll be delighted to work with!

Compactness − 710 mm minimum width

Thanks to the DX10Z’s compact design, it can pass through most standard-sized European doors.

  • The front blade and the undercarriage are retractable to achieve this reduced width, which still provides top-class stability in normal operation.
  • Plus, to minimize the overall width of the machine, the TOPS can be folded down quickly − without any tools − and is integrated into the frame.

Foldable TOPS

The exclusive design of the TOPS allows the operator to fold down the TOPS in just a few seconds.

  • 2 pins lock the TOPS in place while the machine is in operation, but they allow for quick, efficient removal and installation when passing through a narrow space.
  • The exclusive feature is the integration of the TOPS into the upper structure − which reduces the overall width of the machine and eliminates any bulges on the sides.

Blade Extension

The sliding-blade-extension eliminates loose parts that require storage space and are easily lost.

  • Simply slide them to the inner position to reduce the overall width.

The expandable undercarriage provides the DX10Z with one of the widest stances in the mini-excavator segment

  • When it is extended, the width of the square footprint becomes 1100 mm, providing unsurpassed stability.
  • A workgroup features a box structure design, providing strength while minimizing the overall weight of the workgroup.

Tail Swing offset (ZTS) and Steel covers

  • DX10Z is a true ZTS, which means the operator can fully concentrate on the job at hand.
  • The use of metal covers and a large cast counterweight provide excellent corner protection and extra durability.

Cylinder over boom and internal hose routing

The workgroup of this excavator features a cylinder-over-boom design, so that the cylinder cannot be damaged. The hoses for the auxiliary hydraulics are routed inside the boom to prevent any damage when working. These two features enhance the machine’s durability.Easy service access and long intervals
Right from the start, we paid particular attention to easy service access: these units have a single access point for the daily maintenance of the main components, for checking the fuel gauge, and refuelling through the lockable cap.

Engine and cooling

The DX10Z is equipped with the Kubota engine solution − one of the most well-known for the mini-excavator segment. This provides proven reliability, as well as low vibration and noise levels, which are a must when working in a confined area.

The cooling system delivers best-in-class performance − which is critical when working in confined areas where air flow may be minimal. When the machine is frequently used with a hydraulic breaker, the ‘demolition kit’ provides extra cooling so the breaker can be used 100% of the time, even in warm environments. This is unique in the market, and makes this model ideal for in-door demolition projects.

Roomy like a large excavator

This model has joysticks − not levers − like large excavators do. So the DX10Z can work in greater detail and operation is comfortable.
