Agricultural machines from Bobcat and Doosan at Agritechnica

Doosan DL250 at Agritechnica 2011

The Bobcat and Doosan brands belonging to Doosan Infracore Construction Equipment (DI CE) will be presenting a selection of their line-up for the agricultural sector at Stand B38a in Hall 06 at this year's Agritechnica. The highlight at the stand will be the TL470 telescopic handler, specially developed for agricultural applications. In addition to the TL470, a Doosan DL250 wheel loader, a T2250 telescopic handler, the S70 and S175 skid-steer loaders and the E26 compact excavator will also be on display at the stand.

The telescopic handlers and wheel loaders being exhibited are ideal for agricultural loading and material-handling applications. Biogas plant operators and harvesting contractors in particular are relying increasingly on the use of these two types of machines. René Kappus, District Manager for Germany and Switzerland, explains why: "Thanks to its robust strength and powerful pushing force, the wheel loader lends itself to certain applications such as harvesting and silage compaction at large biogas plants. However, when it comes to lifting heights, reach or work with pallet forks, man platforms, etc., telescopic handlers are the first choice."

Unrestricted all-round view in the TL470
With its patented asymmetric cab design, the TL470 provides an unobstructed view across the rear of the machine while an optional 190 L/min load-sensing pump allows higher speeds when performing single and combined boom movements. The TL470 also offers an optional 40 km/h travel-speed mode to meet higher speed requirements. The three different steering modes - all-wheel, crab, and front-wheel steering - can now be selected automatically.

DL250 wheel loader also available with special agricultural tyres
The Doosan DL250 wheel loader can be fitted with a 5 m³ light-material bucket for agricultural applications. The powerful pushing force of the loader enables easy penetration into bulk materials. Thanks to the powerful hydraulic system, the driver can work quickly and efficiently. The heart of the loader is a fuel-efficient 6-cylinder Doosan "Common Rail" engine. The DL250 is available with special agricultural tyres up to 650 mm in width.

Compact and agile: the Bobcat S70
Bobcat skid-steer loaders demonstrate their full potential in situations where conditions are cramped and clearances low. Their compact dimensions and wide range of attachments, such as feeding buckets, bale forks and manure grapples, make them the ideal farmyard loader.

The S70 is Bobcat's smallest skid-steer loader.  It is increasingly gaining in popularity, particularly with the agricultural community. Because of its extremely compact dimensions (width: 901 mm, height: 1814 mm, overall length with standard bucket: 2533 mm) and its ability to turn around on the spot, it can work in even the most confined spaces. The S70 is powered by a 16.8 kW Kubota D1005-E3B-BC3 diesel engine.
