Bobcat of Catalunya joins Doosan Dealer Network

Bobcat of Catalunya, part of the ITT (International Trucks and Tractors) Group, has been appointed as a new Doosan dealer in Catalunya. Bobcat of Catalunya will now represent both the Doosan and Bobcat brands in a territory covering the areas of Lleida, Girona, north of Barcelona and south of Tarragona, whilst the south of Barcelona and the north of Tarragona will remain the responsibility of Serma, which already operates as a dealer in this area.

Currently, Bobcat of Catalunya has three branches in Girona (occupying approximately 1500 m2), Lleida (12000 m2), and its headquarters in Sant Martí Martorelles, Barcelona (3500 m2).  Operating in the construction market since 2002, Bobcat of Catalunya has extensive experience and success with the Bobcat line of compact equipment, having sold more than 3000 units and has a large portfolio of customers.

The company is staffed by a team of professionals that knows the industry inside out and aims to tailor solutions to the specific needs of each customer.  The ability to leverage these strengths combined with the company’s expertise in offering a wide range of products to cover different market requirements were the main reasons behind Bobcat of Catalunya’s decision to add the extensive Doosan heavy equipment line to the current compact line up.  The Doosan product range includes both crawler and wheeled excavators; wheel loaders and articulated dump trucks. 

Commenting on the new venture with the Doosan line, Ferran Recio, Business Manager for Bobcat of Catalunya, made a very positive appraisal: “Besides offering new solutions for our regular customers, the expanded dealership will allow us to reach new market sectors requiring larger machinery, such as quarrying, mining and large earthmoving projects etc.  We have expanded our business and can now offer global solutions for any type of job.  And all this with the guarantee of renowned brand names like Doosan and Bobcat which enjoy global prestige and recognition.  The outlook is promising.  Despite the complex economic situation, the new heavy machinery line has been favourably received by our customers.
